Crude palm oil futures remain up on rising demand

NEW DELHI, Oct 29:  Amid rising domestic demand and tight supplies from producing belts, crude palm oil rose further by 0.29 per cent to Rs 454.90 per 10 kg in futures trade today as speculators enlarged positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude palm oil for delivery in October gained Rs 1.30, or 0.29 per cent to Rs 454.90 per 10 kg in business turnover of 16 lots.
Likewise, the oil for delivery in November edged up by 50 paise, or 0.11 per cent to Rs 459.20 per 10 kg in 63 lots.
Analysts said besides rising demand in the spot market, tight supplies on restricted arrivals from producing belts kept crude palm oil prices higher at futures trade. (PTI)
