CRPF organizes medical camp

SRINAGAR, Dec 5: The 23rd Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) today organized a medical camp under its civic action program at the Primary Health Centre (PHC), Pathar Masjid in Srinagar.
According to a CRPF spokesperson, the camp was conducted in collaboration with the PHC Pathar Masjid team. “Various medical tests were performed by a proficient team of doctors, who also provided medical advice and distributed free medicines to the patients,” he said.
The event was inaugurated by Commandant P. Kharmujai of the 23rd Battalion CRPF. Officers from the battalion and the Health Department were also present during the program.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant P. Kharmujai said, “This is not just a medical camp but an opportunity to contribute to a healthy and fit society, which is essential for building a strong nation.” He assured the locals that the CRPF would always be available to support the community and provide assistance whenever needed.
During the camp, Dr. Samarjeet Vermani of the 23rd Battalion and other medical officers interacted with the locals and emphasized the importance of adopting healthy habits and practices. “Residents, including women and children, participated in the camp and benefited from the services,” the spokesperson added.
