UDHAMPUR, Apr 2: A local CRPF Jawan was found hanging in the house of his in-laws at Mand, near Tikri, here today.
According to the police report, Bachan Singh (33), son of Pritam Singh resident of Bainsta Tehsil Ramnagar, was found hanging from ceiling fan hook in his father-in-law’s house under mysterious circumstances.
On being spotted hanging, the family member immediately called the Rehambal Police Station following which a Police team rushed to the spot and took the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem.
The CRPF Jawan was deployed in 137 Batallion of the Force and had come home on leave just two days back. He reached to in-laws’ house yesterday evening and today morning was founded hanging from ceiling fan hook. The deceased deployed in 137 Batallion of CRPF
Cause of provocation behind the suicide could not be ascertained. Rehambal Police registered the case and further investigation is going on.
