JAMMU, Feb 7: CRPF Director General GP Singh reviewed the security situation in Kathua and Udhampur districts of the region today.

He reviewed the overall security situation, apart from the operational preparedness of the paramilitary personnel.
He also engaged with officers and jawans, listening to their operational experiences.
Yesterday, Singh visited twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch for review of the situation and interaction with the CRPF officers and jawans. He also met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and briefed him on the situation.
The CRPF is deployed in large strength in the militancy-infested areas in Jammu and Kashmir.
