PULWAMA, Oct 29: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 182 Battalion organized a cultural programme at its headquarters in South Kashmir’s Pulwama in which participants presented various folk dances.
On the occasion, the participants presented Bihu dance of Assam, Bhangra of Punjab and Chakri of Kashmir. The programme was attended by various dignitaries including Deputy Inspector General Operations (DIG Ops) CRPF O S Charak.
Concluding the programme, Charak said that it was his long endeavour to harness the talent of his men which they possess besides valour to fight for the country.
Amit Kumar, Commanding Officer said that if floods had not halted he would have made better than what the boys presented.
“Despite very little time I tried my best to bring best from the boys who gave marvelous performances,” said Amit Kumar, adding that CRPF besides its duty to serve people would also make its men to shine in what is intrinsic in them.
