JAMMU, Feb 15: Prominent Kashmiri Pandit (KP) activist, Vinod Pandita has urged the PM Modi, Union Home Minister and Lieutenant Governor of J&K to create and advertise at least 20,000 permanent posts for educated unemployed youths of KP community.
In a handout, Pandita appealed for making the jobs of PM package employees permanent with all benefits as are available to normal employees of J&K.
He also demanded rehabilitation policy at the earliest for resettlement of more than five lakh KPs back in the Valley in safer zones at the earliest.
The KP leader claimed that during their migration in 1990 there were 20,000 permanent Government jobs on which KPs were actively discharging their duties in Kashmir valley and these posts were cleverly grabbed and filled under a well thought out plan and conspiracy by the then officers at the helm.
