JAMMU, Oct 3: Presiding Officer Fast Track Court Kishore Kumar today rejected the bail application of one Girdhari Lal, son of Punnu Ram of Rajiv Nagar, who was allegedly involved in rape case.
After hearing both the sides, the court observed, “offences of abduction and rape are most serious offences against the woman. These offences against the woman have been viewed to be the offences against the society as a whole”.
“Letting the accused on bail in such offences would definitely have deleterious effect on the mind of the general public and would encourage re-occurrence of such crime”, the court said while rejecting the bail application.
