JAMMU, Apr 15: Municipal Magistrate Jammu, V S Bhou today rejected the bail application of one Suresh Kumar, son of Jia Lal Koul, resident of Durga Nagar and alleged Director-cum-Owner of the fake engineering institute in the fake degrees scam.
After hearing Senior Prosecuting Officer Rohit Gupta appearing for the State, Municipal Magistrate Jammu observed, “Investigating Officer has been permitted to go out of the State and enquire from one Naresh Kumar and Tanvir of Delhi, who used to provide fake degrees from different universities. Moreover, investigation is at nascent stage. The custodial investigation of accused in the presence of other co-accused is imperative”.
With these observations, Court dismissed the bail application.
