DODA, Sept 25: A local court in Doda ordered community service as punishment for a man involved in creating a public nuisance.
On September 11, Roshan Lal, a resident of Roat in Marmat, was found in a drunken state at Mandir Mohalla, where he shouted loudly, hurled abuses at passersby, and disturbed peace in the area.
Police produced an Istigassa against him under section 355 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita before the court.
After hearing the matter, the court directed that the accused will undergo six days of community service at Government Higher Secondary School, Goha, Marmat.
