BUDGAM, June 23: Chief Judicial Magistrate Budgam Kamlesh Pandita rejected the bail application of one Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, who was arrested by the Khansahib Police in a rape case.
After hearing both the sides, CJM observed, “the offence alleged to have been committed by the accused person is heinous and considered against the society at large”, adding “the rape is crime against one’s mind, psyche and reputation and it leaves a permanent scar on the life of the victim”.
“Moreover, this crime becomes horrendous for the victim of the rape to lead a dignified and well respectable life in the society”, the court said and dismissed the bail application.
