JAMMU, July 11: Special Excise Mobile Magistrate Jammu, Amarjeet Singh Langeh today rejected the bail application of one Inderjeet Singh, who was arrested by Pouni Chak Police in cheating and theft case.
After hearing Senior Prosecuting Officer Jatinder Anand, Special Excise Mobile Magistrate Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh observed, “the absconding accused is alleged to be king pin of the gang which resorts to frequent thefts in the area and co-accused who is alleged to be habitual offender is yet to be arrested”.
“Circumstances like nature and character of evidence and social fall out of gravity of the alleged crime too have to be given due consideration and it is all the more relevant when the investigation is at initial stage”, the court said.
With these observations, court rejected the bail application.
