RAJOURI, Nov 12: A woman died while his husband is struggling for life in the hospital after both consumed some poisonous substance during the intervening night of November 11 and 12.
According to the reports, the couple identified as Abdul Qayoom (27) son of Nazir Husain and Shanaz Akhter (24) is resident of Shahpur Keri and they took this extreme step at their residence.
The relatives rushed them to District Hospital, Rajouri, from where doctors referred them to GMC Jammu. While Shanaz Akhter died on the way to GMC, Abdul Qayoom was struggling for life in the hospital. Chingus police had taken cognizance of the matter.
