JAMMU, May 21: Bishnah police arrested three persons including a couple along with heroin.
As per police sources, on a tip-off, a team from Bishnah police station laid a naka at Kothey Chorli and intercepted a without registration number motorcycle.
During checking, police apprehended three drug peddlers riding on the motorcycle along with 3000 miligrams heroin.
The accused have been identified as Arjan Kumar, son of Dev Raj of Kothey Balanday, Anil Kumar alias Vicky, son of Prem Chand of Biaspur Parlah and his wife Rekha Kumari.
A case under FIR Number 56/16 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Bishnah police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Paramjeet Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters RC Kotwal.
