UDHAMPUR, Sept 7: District Jail Udhampur today started Counseling and Neuro-Linguistic Program (NLP) for the jail inmates (stone pelters).
The program was organized in collaboration with Universal Helpage Foundation, Udhampur and Education Department, Udhampur, respectively, after the directions of Dr SP Vaid, Director General of Police, Prisons, J&K.
The resource persons, who delivered lectures to the jail inmates, were Ravi Sharma from Universal Helpage Foundation, Udhampur and JK Tharmatt, District Education Planning Officer, Udhampur.
The jail inmates showed keen interest in the program. The program was aimed at re-socializing and developing sense of social responsibility and obligations besides, all round development of mental and physical status of jail inmates.
