JAMMU, Mar 5: Renovation work of parks in Sectors B, C and G at Sainik Colony area in Ward number 69 was today started by Gurmeet Kour Randhawa, Councillor of the Ward.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said that the parks are being renovated at a cost of Rs. five lakh and it was the long pending demand of locals there.
The renovation work will include plastering the walls, repairs and painting of grills, swings and benches. Randhawa appealed to the locals that users of the parks should ensure cleanliness in the parks and its surroundings.
