JAMMU, Dec 17: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Prof. Youdhvir Singh, of Ward 73 today started work of bridge construction at Bhour Kullian which was the long pending demand of locals there.
The bridge will be completed by PWD R&B at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.64 crore.
Speaking on the occasion the JMC Councillor said that resolution to construct Landoi Choi Nallah downstream near Jammu Airport has been adopted in General House Meeting of JMC unanimously making the dock clear for RCC construction of the Nallah.
Former Sarpanches—Vijay Sharma, Amrit Bali, Pawan Bhagat, prominent academician Vikas Sharma, Harbans Lal Bhagat, S. Charanjit Singh, S. Harbinder Singh and others were also present on the occasion.
