JAMMU, May 19: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Councillor, Rahul Kumar here today started blacktopping of main road and few back lanes at Gandhi Nagar in Ward 20.
Speaking on the occasion the Councillor said, this was a long pending demand of people of the area which has now been fulfilled.
He said that BJP is making all efforts to provide basic amenities to the people amidst the second wave of COVID-19.
Kumar claimed that starting from distribution of ration among the needy to providing assistance to those who have fallen prey to COVID-19, a battery of BJP workers is extending unrelenting support to the people irrespective of their caste, colour or creed.
Kumar promised to make his Ward a model one and provide basic amenities to the public will be the step towards the achievement of the model Ward.
Rachit Khosla, secretary BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal, Sandeep Gupta, executive district member BJP, Satbir Singh Ward president, Rajesh Khullar executive district member BJP and Vijay Verma were also present on the occasion.
