SUCHETGARH, Nov 18: DDC member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony today alleged that J&K presently has entire official machinery involved in black-marketing of minor minerals in connivance with outsider contractors as every order in this regard is to benefit mafia and not the common masses.
In a handout, Tony claimed that corruption in J&K has crossed all limits of the last over 70 years and appealed PM Modi to intervene as common man suffering and delinquent ruling the roost in J&K.
“The liquor policy of J&K is benefitting the liquor mafia from outside which has destabilized the youth of J&K whereas in Ladakh, LG R.K Mathur is working hard to save all such opportunity for Ladakh people only,” Tony maintained adding that the rates of sand and gravel have crossed all the limits making it extremely difficult for the poor to raise constructions or even renovate old constructions.
He said that situation in PHE, PWD, RDD, PDD and many other departments is also dismal as far as corruption is concerned.
