JAMMU, Feb 4: Additional Sessions Judge Anticorruption Srinagar Faizan ul Haq Iqbal today framed charges against Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, Ward Officer Srinagar Municipal Council, who was nabbed while demanding and accepting bribe.
After hearing both the sides, Additional Sessions Judge observed, “there is sufficient material on record which offers this court grounds for presuming that the accused has committed offence under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act 1988”.
Accordingly, court framed charges against the accused.
