DODA, June 12: On the directions of SSP Doda, Sandeep Mehta, a major Cannabis (Bhang) destruction drive under Operation Sanjeevani, was carried out in Doda Town near District Hospital Doda, covering approximately five kanals of land.
The drive was carried out by Doda Police in collaboration with Executive Magistrate Doda, under the supervision of Additional SP Doda and DySP Hqrs Doda and the drive was executed by SHO Doda and IC PP DH Doda.
General public has urged that such kind of destruction drives should be carried out in future also.
Doda Police has appealed to the general public to keep an eye in their neighbourhood and provide information of illegal cultivation or any kind of drug selling so that stringent action could be taken against drug cultivators.
