POONCH, June 4: One person serving in Jammu and Kashmir Police was killed in an accident near Dugrian area on Mughal road late this evening.
Official sources said that a Swift car bearing registration number JK02AC- 7447 met with an accident at about 09:00 PM near Dugrian, on Mughal road. The ill fated car fell into a deep gorge and finally landed at the backside of a residential house, down the mountain. The family informed Police and brought out the dead body from the vehicle.
Block Medical Officer Surankote Dr Yousuf said that with the efforts of locals and police a dead body was brought up to the road and then shifted to SDH Surankote. The deceased was later identified as Rukhsar Khan, son of Mohd Qureshi, resident of Mendhar. The police and Army was searching for any other victim in the car till the final report was received.
