KATHUA, Oct 20: A police constable was arrested and nearly 500 gm charas recovered from his residence in Nagri area of Kathua during raid today.
A senior police official said that acting on a specific information, a police party led by Sub Inspector, Amit Andotra conducted raid at the residence of Constable Bansi Lal, son of Chuni Lal at Nagri Parole and recovered nearly 500 gm charas from his house. The Constable was arrested and a case registered against him. He was presently posted in Court complex, Kathua. Further, investigation was in progress.
