UDHAMPUR, Nov 5: Udhampur Police has arrested a Branch Manager of Development Cooperative Society Bank for allegedly assaulting and abusing a female temporary employee of the bank, who was promised of permanent job on completion of prescribed target.
The accused, identified as Kasim Malik of Udhampur, was Manager at Setani branch of the bank. He had allegedly promised the victim of permanent job if she manages to get Rs 4 lakh deposited in the bank with new accounts of the customers. However, after the girl completed the assigned target and approached the Manager for permanent job, the latter allegedly shouted on her and even slapped the victim.
After the girl reported the matter to Police and lodged a complaint, the accused Manager was arrested. A case FIR 407/14, under Sections 332, 341 and 354 has been registered against the accused Manager at Udhampur Police Station.
