Cooperate to check spread of virus: Suri

JAMMU, Aug 30: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) J&K Executive Member, Raman Suri has appealed to general public of Jammu to cooperate with health authorities of the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir in conducting rapid COVID-19 tests in different localities, bazars and shopping centres, so that enhanced data collected could help people isolate themselves and make sure that graph of pandemic is flattened as soon as possible. This will also help in containing the community spread of virus.
Raman Suri said, now that the Government has decided to allow home quarantine all asymptomatic COVID-19 positive cases in Jammu province with conditions, people must come forward and get themselves tested in all localities as scheduled by Government. In case people have separate rooms and minimum required facilities, they can isolate themselves at home. This way they will stay comfortable while deal with the infection as well.
He said that fastest-growing Corona virus cases have been recorded in India and the nation has reported more than 75,000 new infections per day. Crowded cities, lockdown fatigue and a lack of contact tracing have spread COVID-19, which needs to be checked.
