Convert PHC Arnia into Vet clinic

This is to draw the attention of the concerned authorities that the Govt. Primary Health Centre (Arnia), block Bishnah be upgraded and converted into a Veterinary clinic to provide treatment to injured bovine in the area. It may be mentioned here that the cattle of this area have to bear the brunt of Pakistani shelling most of the times. It has been observed that cattle suffer most as they do not get immediate medical help during firing. A good number of cattle have perished recently as they couldn’t get medical assistance. To provide them assistance, they have to be shifted to other places which is not possible always.
In case this medical centre is converted into a Veterinary clinic, it will be a great service to the people living here.
Meanwhile, the emergency hospital that has been established be shifted to some safe place where people could be treated in a fear free environment. Hope, the Government may consider this suggestion sympathetically.

Insanitary conditions in Katra
We want to draw the attention of the Katra Municipality towards the insanitary conditions prevailing in the holy town due to which pilgrims face lot of problems. Many garbage dumps have erupted here and there in the town creating not only an unpleasant scene, but also emitting foul smell. The situation is quite embarrassing one and is to be treated on priority. Besides, drains have got choked at various places which also need to cleared to allow filthy water flow smoothly.
The concerned authorities are requested to keep the town clean.

Construct Ghati-Ghuraka road
This is to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the bad condition of Ghati-Ghuraka road (Bhaderwah) It may be mentioned here that work was started on this road nine years ago and was completed in 3 years. Since then no repair work was carried on this project, with the result, the road is totally damaged and not fit for traffic. During rains, it creates lot of trouble for residents. One can see nothing else but mud and slush along the entire stretch. The situation really becomes indescribable during this period.
Hope, the authorities would take note of this situation and act accordingly.

Replace damaged electric poles at Chakruvan
We have highlighted this grievance a number of times through this paper as well as through other media but there has been no action. On the part of the Power Development Department. It is sheer antipathy on the part of PDD wooden electric poles were installed in village Chakruvan Batta (Palli) some 40 years ago to electrify the village. But during the course of time these wooden poles got damaged and some of them crumbled and more are likely to crumble in days to come. The authorities were requested to replace them with new cement poles as are in use now-a-days throughout country. But our efforts to get the work done seem to have failed, as the department has remained indifferent to our pleas.
Due to crumbling of poles, the electricity supply to this village gets affected off and on causing great inconvenience to the residents of the area.
We request the higher authorities of the PDD to look into the matter at the earliest.

Blacktop Rambagh-Kullian road
We want to highlight the bad condition of Rambagh-Kullian-Chak Jogi road which connects with Mandal Phallain. This link road which caters the needs of a huge population of this area branches off at Sure Chak. This road is full of potholes and puddles which get filled with rain water during this season and often cause inconvenience to residents and motorists especially during night hours. This road needs to be blacktopped at the earliest so that people have a safe journey. The authorities, it is hoped, would attach importance to this important link.
