UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: A convention of PDP Youth Wing was held here today wherein PDP Youth general secretary and MLA Wachi, Aijaz Ahmad Mir was the chief guest.
Underlining the efforts and intent of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti for making youth the agents of change, Aijaz Ahmad Mir reiterated party’s commitment to create enabling atmosphere for youth of the State to realise their potential. He added that the party would reach out to youth in a big way to engage them and to work for resolution of the problems faced by them. He announced that a series of such conventions would be held through out the State for this purpose.
Speaking on the occasion, Media Consultant to the Government, Syed Suhail Bukhari, listed the youth specific initiatives of the Government.
PDP district president Hansraj Kalotra and youth leaders Aijaz Sumberiya, Tariq Mughal, Depinder Pal Dingh, Vikram Singh, Riyaz Atish, Majid Shah, Girish Sharma and Sunny Sangral also spoke on the occasion.
