POONCH, Apr 18: Contractor Association Poonch today held strong protest outside PWD office here against, excessive formalities for renewal of their cards.
They raised slogans and urged administration to do justice with contractor community.
They said that Government is asking for many formalities for renewal of contractor cards due to which our community is facing acute problem. They said that LG administration is claiming to ease system but it seems contrary to the ground realities.
“If the Government wants to take such formalities from us then tenders being floated at time must be halted till renewal of our cards,” they added.
They sought intervention of LG’s administration into the matter.
