Construct Gouri Mitti-Kandroo Kalka road link

The Tehsil Moungri’s “Gouri Mitti’’, 52 km from Distt HQ Udhampur, is a most beautiful and picturesque hill top like widely known tourist spot Patnitop. It has Mata Maha Kali’s ancient Shrine which is vehicular road  linked. Here from towards North a motorable link road of about 3 km for another  most revered and mesmerizing spot namely “Kandroo Kalka Mata’’ is imperative. The road would link the scenic  and breath-taking middle/higher reaches of villages Moungri and Ladda behind the holy Trikuta Hills of Shree Mata Vaishno Devi Ji with rest of the world. The slightly sloppy range not only resembles Patnitop-Sansar belt but also experiences heavy snow fall in winters. It is covered with dense Kail Forests with a wide ranged back side view of the sacred Trikuta Hills. It is brimmed with fabulous pilgrim-tourism potential. The motorable link road is the fundamental necessity to tap the matchless naural beauty at about 8000 ft height. The link road would connect the locals’agricultural lands as well. It would be beneficial for them in varied ways. It is also to mention here that there is ample scope of road construction without even slightly hurting a single tree. Instead  the road would add beauty and dignity to the already graceful and splendid range/spot. So an early initiative in this connection by involving Forest and Revenue Departments is solicited. The road facility would surely change the fate of the poor people of this wide stretched but undiscovered belt. It would add to the J&K State’s economy as well. Moreover, in the way there is a cold/sweet water’s natural spring having an old fashioned bowali, that too in miserable condition. At this point a latest fashioned large sized beautiful bowali is imperative.
Besides, it is painful to note that the 12 km uphill Moungri-Ladda Kucha road linking “Gouri Mitti’’ is currently in dreadful condition. The first 8 Km stretch is under PWD (R&B) Division Udhampur and rest is under PMGSY Division Reasi. The large number of vehicles including passenger buses ply daily on this ill maintained and dangerous road. The human life travelling on this road is unsafe. The road screams for over all improvement upto macadamization stage. The road connectivity in better  form is the fundamental necessity of this naturally blessed area. The  concerned quarters’ sincere attention towards this aspect is also solicited.

Blacktop Shiv Nagar road
This is to draw the attention of the concerned authorities towards the bad condition of Lane No. 17 at Lower Shiv Nagar connecting other lane not black-topped yet. This deplorable condition of lane is source of great inconvenience to the residents of the area, particularly children and old people.
During rainy days, it almost hell here. The Government despite being aware of the situation does  not bother to blacktop the road.
It is once again requested to the concerned authorities to get this road black-topped at the earliest.

Open Tehsil-wise Degree Colleges
It is requested to Central and State Governments to open Tehsilwise Degree Colleges out of Rs 80,000 crores Special Development Package sanctioned by the Prime Minister of India for this State. From the very beginning the opening of New Degree Colleges has remained a politico-controversial issue and some of the old most deserving tehsils have suffered injustice at the hands of those who were appointed to do justice.
The present Govt is working honestly on the agenda of development and things are changing very fast in right direction. It has been seen that the Matric and Higher Secondary Passouts in thousands from tehsils which have no Degree College only add to the list of drop outs. The girl students of these areas are the worst affected lot. Hardly any girl from such tehsils which have no Degree College reaches in a College at far oft district Headquarter. The investment in Education sector will pay in the long run and it will produce a civilised society.  If a small part of PM’s Package is spent on Higher Education, it will be real investment in Human Resources Development and lakhs of students will be benefitted, because till today about ninety percent students opt for college Education after 10+2 stage. So the remaining Tehsils of the State should be provided with at least one Degree College.

A dirty nallah sans safety wall
I would like to draw the kind attention of the MLA (Jammu West) and also the State BJP President towards a dirty nallah which runs along the boundary wall of KC mansion and opposite to the Afsar Resort either side of the road has become a death trap for the passers by because of not having a safety wall along the nallah since there is not even a sufficient spacious footpath to walk on foot by the passers-by along the nallah to be saved from a speedy matador when it reaches there. And there is 100 percent chance for the occurrence of any accident by way of falling into the nallah. Even anyone can stumble for a fault of one’s own. Besides it emits foul smell and gives birth to mosques, flies etc, with the result fear of spreading various kinds of infectious diseases such as malaria, dengue etc telling upon the health of the people residing in the vicinity of the locality. Considering it a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, there is a dire need to be taken care of such dirty places. I would putforth two preventive measures to overcome the problem, construct a concrete safety wall along this nallah or be cover it fully. It would pave the way for pedestrians to walk on the spacious footpath easily and it would avoid any kind of mishappening as well. It is, therefore, requested to the higher authorities to  kindly look into this said genuine problem being faced by the passers-by  visiting the spot personally.

Water shortage in Vinayak Vihar
We,  the residents of Vinayak Vihar have been facing acute shortage of drinking water since last some months. The problem instead of getting alleviated is aggravating with each passing day. The water is supplied almost every four days, and the too for 20-30 minutes during which it is impossible to store sufficient water to meet the need. We have approached concerned authorities several times in this connection but nobody bothers to redress our this long pending demand.
It is once again requested to the higher authorities of the PHE Department to look into the matter, and augment the supply of water at the earliest.

Construct Dunadi Bunjwah road
This is to draw the attention of the concerned officers that the road link Bunjwah in Chenab valley connecting rest of the region is in deplorable condition. This road which is 26 km long has been in this position since several decades, and no effort has been made to black-top it. The concerned agencies JKPCC and PMGSY have left it in this position for reasons best known to them. On Mar 29, a strong demonstration was held against the callous attitude of the concerned department. As a fallout of this protest, work was started on this road, but it has come to our knowledge that the agency is not adhering to specification laid out for this road. The road should be  6 meters width but in reality it is not so. As a result, the road so constructed will not serve the purpose it is laid for.
It is therefore requested to the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to intervene in the matter at the earliest.
