The flyover in Bikram Chowk is almost ready to be commissioned in two or three months’ time . It is going to ease a great deal of traffic mess to save time of the people and make motoring enjoyable instead of taxing as at present.
Our main city is finding itself unable to cope up with the increase in vehicles plying over it. The roads more or less are the same as they used to be because it is difficult and needing enormous funds to widen them since the move entails shifting rows of houses and shops on either side of roads . In the near future it seems unlikely. The other options would be to construct fly overs over them . The roads needing such flyovers are B.C.Road to Bantalab route very urgently . The traffic jams on this route in the mornings and evenings are enormous . Added to the chaos is erratic parking of vehicles including two wheelers , dropping and boarding of passengers at will for which both drivers and passengers are responsible.
It would be therefore appropriate for the authorities to address this very important issue and grant and sanction construction of a flyover on Bantalab- Roopnagar- Janipur- New plots to B.C.Road at an early date.
