Congress worker Fahid Bashir expelled from party for six years

SRINAGAR, July 29: With the approval of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee President Tariq Hameed Karra, Congress worker Fahid Bashir has been expelled from the party for six years, with immediate effect.
“In view of anti-party activities Fahid Bashir who is the resident of Lawaypora, Srinagar is expelled from the party for six years, with immediate effect,” said Srinagar District Congress Committee President Irfan Naqib in a statement, issued here today.
Fahid Bashir was found deeply involved in anti-party and objectionable activities on social media for the last nine months, Naqib added.
