JAMMU, Jan 11: Former Legislator and coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhag Ashok Sharma today said that Congress will get two-third majority and form next Government in the state in upcoming assembly elections.
While addressing public gathering at Panchayat Dhanmakot of Kalakote Consistency in presence of newly elected Sarpanches and Panches of Block Doongi today, Sharma said that Congress is a vibrant political force in all three regions of the state and would emerge victorious in the coming elections.
Sharma further said that Congress is the only secular force having great acceptability in all sections and three regions, as people have realized that Congress alone can ensure equal share and equitable development to three regions and all parts of the State.
He strongly criticised the BJP for its utter failure to ensure equitable share to Rajouri district specially Kalakote consistency in every sphere and its surrender on every vital issue and compromise on its agenda, for the sake of power. He further said that the previous regime of PDP-BJP Coalition Govt failed on all fronts, as a result many section of the society are suffering.
Prominent among those who deliberated included Janid Hussain, Girdhari Lal, Shafiq Ahmed Sarpanch, Rattan Mehta, Sashi Sharma, Nakul Sharma, secretary PYC, Hav Hamid Sarpanch, Mukhtar Hussain and Sanjay Sandhu.
