UDHAMPUR, Mar 16: Working President of District Congress Committee Udhampur Sumeet Magotra conducted a tour of Pathi, Kainthgali and Panchari villages of Udhampur District for highlighting the public problems and grievances.
Accompanied by the Congress workers, Magotra reached the holy temple of Shri Sankari Devta for darshans. On this occasion, the Congress leader observed that the people of this hilly region of the district were ignored for basic necessities.
He observed that people have complaints over shortage of Teachers in Government schools and many school buildings are unsafe but the UT Government was not interested to resolve the basic problems of the people of Panchariarea.
Magotra also alleged that food grain in Rattion Depots was not properly distributed to the Ration holders and old age pension to the old people was also not being distributed in time. Congress leader further said that BJP is only befooling the people through its communal agenda and it was involved in corrupt practice in the country. He appealed the people to cast their vote in favor of Congress candidate in upcoming Lok Sabha elections for peace, progress, prosperity and integration of the country.
Magotra also claimed that Congress is only alternative of BJP.
