KISHTWAR, June 14: Congress leader and member civil society Kishtwar Shamsher Singh Bhandari has expressed grave concern over the worst condition of roads in erstwhile Doda district and alleged that despite repeated pleas the government failed to restore the roads damaged in rains and land slides.
He said the people are facing many hardships due to damaged roads and demanded that the construction of those roads in far flung area of the ersthwhile Doda district be taken into hand the work on which was abandoned for unknown reasons.
Mr Bhandari in an appeal to PCC chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir demanded that district Congress Committee Kishtwar be constituted at an earliest by nominating a dedicated leader acceptable to all partymen as its president.
