JAMMU, June 28: A deputation of Congress workers led by Vinod Sharma-general secretary Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee met Abdul Majid Wani, Minister for Roads and Buildings, today.
The Congress leader apprised the Minister about the condition of Maheshpura- Reshamghar road, Talab Tillo- NITCO road and some other link roads falling in Jammu West Assembly Constituency.
Sharma demanded that the diversion at NITCO lane crossing should be broadened and the roads should be black topped before the rainy season sets in.
The Minister gave patient hearing and assured that the works suggested by them will be executed soon. He called the Chief Engineer R&B and the concerned Executive Engineer and instructed them to do the needful as early as possible.
