MENDHAR, May 26: A one-day conference of Gujjar United Front was held here today under the chairmanship of Shokit Choudhary, president, Sarpanchs’ Association, Mendhar.
Besides Sarpanchs and Panchs, Numberdars, Chowkidars and thousands of people belonging to the tribal community attended the conference.
During the conference, the speakers stressed the Government to provide employment on large scale to the unemployed youth of the community and appealed the Government to take necessary steps for the provision of job opportunities.
The Front also appealed the Government to restore the ST Quota in promotion of 10+2 Lecturers and release BPL list of 2011and announce a special package for below poverty line people.
