Concern over delay in construction of Bus Stand

SRINAGAR, Dec 6: The inhabitants of Ganderbal district have expressed grave concern over the failure of Government to construct the Bus Stand on which the work is going on for last 12 years.
In a meeting today held under the leadership of Abdul Razak Dar a social activist and district vice president People’s Republican Party (PRP) it said that failure in construction of Bus Stand has added to the problems of people.
The meeting said the condition of roads and link roads in the entire district is worst and no attention is being paid to repair them.
Addressing the meeting Mohammed Subhan Dar district general secretary of the Party said that lack of transport facilities is adding to problems of people in general and school and college going students in particular. Besides, the people face problems of ration, water scarcity as well as power cuts.
It said many posts are lying vacant in various Government offices and the authorities should take immediate steps to fill up them.
