Sir,
This has reference to the news item ‘Communal polarization for political gains most immoral’ DE April 18.
Senior National Conference leader Abdul Rahim Rather has rightly said that communal polarization for political gains by some political parties is not only immoral but most condemnable. Wise words indeed. But who lives by such wisdom? Almost all political parties have only one agenda to come to power by creating wedge between communities. The present condition the country is passing through is because of communal politics practised by political parties. Since they do not have any credible development plank to flaunt, they easily go for time tested formula of communal politics. No religion preaches enmity between different sections of society. It is the manifestos of political parties that have created divisions of society. These manifestos will have the same thing to offer in coming times too. Let the countrymen be aware of such designs.
Yours etc….
