JAMMU, Apr 17: To monitor the construction of modern abattoir at Wanihama in Srinagar, the State Government today constituted a committee, headed by Administrative Secretary Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department.
The ten-member committee has been assigned the task of finalizing bid document, allotment of contract for execution of the work and effective supervision of the project. M/s Chennai Abattoir Pvt Ltd Chennai, Project Management Consultant shall assist the committee for smooth execution of the work.
Members of the committee, include; Director of Centrally Sponsored Schemes Planning and Development Department, Director Codes in Finance Department, Director Sheep Husbandry Kashmir, Managing Director J&K Sheep and Sheep Products Development Board, Head Division of APT SKUAST Kashmir, Financial Advisor Animal Sheep Husbandry Department, Superintendent Engineer (Mechanical) Kashmir, SE (R&B Civil) Srinagar or Ganderbal and representative of Housing and Urban Development Department.
