Srinagar, Apr 8: After taking charge, the new Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Anantnag, Amod Ashok Nagpure today reiterated his commitment to strengthening policing and ensuring public safety, while upholding the legacy of the force.
Nagpure earlier today assumed charge as SSP, Anantnag, following a formal handing-over ceremony at the District Police Headquarters.

Nagpure took over from outgoing SSP Amrit Paul Singh in a smooth and professional transition.
Prior to assuming charge, Nagpure visited the District Police Lines where he paid tributes to police martyrs, saluting their sacrifice.
He was later accorded a ceremonial Guard of Honour and welcomed by senior district police officers. After taking charge, the new SSP reiterated his commitment to strengthening policing and ensuring public safety, while upholding the legacy of the force.
