Committed to provide viable road connectivity to every area: Pathania

RAMNAGAR, May 22: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar, today kick started blacktopping under PMGSY from Bharnara to Jansal at sanctioned cost of Rs 563.60 lakh and other from Plater to Jagwal at sanctioned cost of Rs 196.51 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA reiterated his commitment towards providing viable road network to all the major hamlets of his constituency.  He also hosted a Public Darbar at Bharnara and issued on spot instructions to officers vis-a-vis various issues projected by the general public. He asked Social Welfare Department to sanction and issue SC scholarship cases at the earliest. He announced transformers at Kelay and Sandoh and electrification works worth crores in the area. He also announced a water supply tanker in the area and further directed Revenue authorities to implement PSGA and circular number 2016 in letter and spirit.
The MLA said that within his very short stint as elected legislator of the area, Ramnagar constituency has a proud distinction of having road-projects worth Rs 400 crores, tendered and about to be started very shortly. “Projects worth another hundred crores are about to be sanctioned and started in the near future. Ramnagar has first time topped in DDB allocations and distribution of projects, got enlisted under NRLM, Poultry Development Village, Tribal Modal Village, electrification projects costing Rs 50 crore, start of work on Battal-Manwal-Hiranagar line, commissioning of Chani-Mansar Water Supply Scheme and submission of projects for completion of as many as dozen-odd water supply schemes. First time in history, Ramnagar has got three roads under CRF head; Samba to Mansar, Thiall to Chountara Mata and Ramnagar to Basantgarh.  May it be demand for take-over of Revered shrines of Chountara Mata and Pingla Mata, 18-feet road upto Basantgarh and start of work on Tawi bridge at Roun Domel, AMT school, Master Plan for Ramnagar town with a Sewerage Treatment Plant, Solid Waste Management system and a planned Housing Colony for Ramnagar, we are committed to a vision of ‘Sunder, Sashakat and Vikasit Ramnagar’,” he said.
He further said that work on construction of State of Art Town Hall building at Ramnagar is in progress and DPR of multi storied bus-stand at Ramnagar has been prepared and work shall commence very soon. Furthermore work on 3 hostels, and sports stadium/ground at Ramnagar and Majalta is in progress.
