Colourful programmes, products by entrepreneurs with disabilities showcased

JAMMU, Feb 23: Divya Kala Mela Jammu witnessed a lively and engaging cultural evening where the audience danced to the tunes of performances.
Famous artists, Sonali Dogra, Varsha Jamwal and Chaman Lehri captivated the crowd with their melodious voices.
The cultural evening featured various programmes designed to showcase the rich cultural heritage of India. Attendees enjoyed the vibrant performances making the evening memorable.
The chief guests on this occasion were MLA Ramgarh, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal along with MLA Kathua, Dr. Bharat Bhushan and they highlighted the significance of the event in promoting economic inclusion for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
Organized by the National Handicapped Finance and Development Corporation (NDFDC), the event showcased a diverse array of products from nearly 100 artisans and entrepreneurs with disabilities, representing more than 20 States and Union Territories.
The exhibition featured a wide variety of goods including handicrafts, handlooms, embroidery, home décor, eco-friendly products, clothing, stationery, toys, gifts, personal accessories, jewellery, packaged food, and organic products.
A major highlight of the event was series of cultural performances by Divyang artists and well-known professionals.
A special programme, Divya Kala Shakti, is scheduled for February 24, where the immense talent and creativity of people with disabilities will take centre stage.
The visitors also enjoyed regional cuisines from across the country.
Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NDFDC, Naveen Shah delivered vote of thanks.
