UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: A student of Government Degree College Udhampur was allegedly assaulted by a colleague following a tiff over some minor issue, here today.
According to the Police, Arun Goswami, son of Ajay Goswami, resident of Battal-Wallian Udhampur, was hit with a rod by another student, namely Akashdeep of Tikri during a scuffle between the two over some minor issue.
The injured was admitted in District Hospital Udhampur and his condition was stated to be stable. Police Station Udhampur has taken cognizance of the matter and detained the accused student for questioning.
