UDHAMPUR, Mar 31: In an apparent case of suicide, a student of Ramnagar College ended life by hanging herself at her house in Ward number 1 Ramnagar.
According to the police reports, Enno Devi (19), daughter of Des Raj, resident of Ward number 1 Ramnagar, was founded hanging from ceiling fan hook under mysterious circumstances.
On being noticed, the family members rushed her to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred to GMC Jammu Hospital for treatment in view of her critical condition. However, she died during the treatment.
It was an apparent case of suicide and Ramnagar Police have initiated an inquest proceeding Under Section 174 CrPC in this regard for further investigation. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
