JAMMU, Jan 24: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s Advisor, Nasir Aslam Wani has been accorded rank and status of a Cabinet Minister.

An order to this effect was issued today by the General Administration Department (GAD) following approval from the Lieutenant Governor.
Wani will be entitled to a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 80,000, rent-free accommodation and transport facilities.
