KATHUA, July 3: A one day training session on newly revamped Civil Registration System (CRS) Portal was organized today for the functionaries involved in the registration process (Block Development Officers /Block Medical Officers /Executive Officers, Municipals /Hospitals with dealing Assistant) in district Kathua
The training was imparted by Master Trainer Karun and Surat Singh under the supervision of Dr. Vijay Raina,CMO Kathua (District Registrar, Births & Deaths, Kathua ) and Sidharth Anand, DSEO Kathua (Additional District Registrar ,Births & Deaths, Kathua ) The session aimed to familiarize participants with the updated features and functionalities of the portal, ensuring efficient and accurate civil registration processes in the district.
During the training, Master trainers along with DSEO, Sidharth Anand , highlighted that reporting of birth and death events on the newly revamped CSR Portal within 21 days is now mandatory for all Government and Private Hospitals. Additionally, the process of manually seeking files has been dispensed with, streamlining the entire registration procedure in online mode. Hands-on demonstrations and interactive segments allowed attendees to engage directly with the new system.
Dr. Vijay Raina, CMO Kathua (District Registrar, Births & Deaths, Kathua) and Sidharth Anand, DSEO Kathua (Additional District Registrar, Births & Deaths, Kathua) also emphasized the importance of the updated portal in enhancing service delivery and ensuring timely registration of vital events in District Kathua.
