POONCH, Aug 6: Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Poonch, Dr. Parvaiz Ahmed Khan, paid a surprise visit to the Government Primary Health Centre (PHC) Bufliaz in Block Surankote late this evening. He was accompanied by Block Medical Officer (BMO) Surankote, Dr. Mohd Yousuf.
During the inspection, the CMO thoroughly reviewed all sections of the institution and took stock of the healthcare facilities being extended to the general public. He stressed that the PHC must function round-the-clock (24×7) to cater to the needs of the local population without disruption.
Dr. Khan issued on-the-spot instructions to the staff regarding punctuality, adherence to the official dress code, and mandated that all staff submit weekly reports covering key healthcare parameters including OPD, IPD, laboratory tests, DVDS, and institutional deliveries.
In a clear directive aimed at enhancing accountability, the CMO instructed that no employee salary should be released without proper biometric attendance.
