LUCKNOW, Dec 24: “Uttar Pradesh’s rapidly rising stature in India’s and the global education landscape owes much to the significant contribution of Galgotias University,” said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while lauding the university during a special interaction held recently.
Praising Galgotias University’s impressive performance in the QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education (THE) rankings, the Chief Minister described the institution as a leading example for higher education institutions in Uttar Pradesh and a source of pride for the state.
He emphasised the critical role of academic excellence, innovation-driven learning, and global collaboration in establishing Uttar Pradesh as an emerging knowledge hub.
During the interaction, Galgotias University Chancellor Sunil Galgotia praised CM Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, stating that under his able stewardship, Uttar Pradesh’s governance and development model has become a benchmark for other states.
He noted that the state’s governance model is being appreciated globally, and that the upcoming Jewar Airport in the region will generate employment opportunities for millions of young people across the country.
“The large-scale industry hub being developed in the area is unparalleled anywhere else in India,” Galgotia added.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister strongly appreciated Galgotias University’s sustained efforts towards building a world-class academic ecosystem and, while offering his blessings, encouraged the university to scale even greater heights in global rankings.
A key highlight of the interaction was the Chief Minister’s praise for the university’s G-SCALE (Galgotias Student-Centred Active Learning Ecosystem), a future-ready academic model.
The university’s teaching framework has been further strengthened through collaboration with Singapore-based Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and its InsPIRE model, reflecting Galgotias University’s commitment to internationally benchmarked education.
The CM also expressed satisfaction with the university’s academic innovation programmes in artificial intelligence, semiconductors and research and drone technology.
“Such future-focused innovations not only equip students for global competition, but also strengthen Uttar Pradesh and India’s journey towards technological self-reliance,” he added.
