JAMMU, Nov 3: The 4th meeting of the Board of Students Welfare (BSW) of Cluster University of Jammu was held here today under the chairmanship of Prof K S Chandrasekar, Vice-Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu.
The meeting was attended by Shantmanu, Additional Chief Secretary, Higher Education Department, along with Prof D S Manhas, Dean Students Welfare; Dr Twinkle Suri, Dean Academic Affairs; Ankur Mahajan, Registrar; Dr Ranvijay Singh, Controller of Examinations; and Nagesh Jamwal, Financial Advisor.
The Board deliberated on and approved several important agenda items including the Activity Calendar for 2025-26, the Broad Panel of Jury Members for Yuvtarang 2025-26, the Budget for student welfare activities, and amendments to the regulations governing cultural and literary events to foster greater student participation and inclusivity.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciated the valuable suggestions of the members and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to promoting holistic student welfare, co-curricular engagement, and a vibrant campus life across all constituent colleges of the University.
Principals of constituent colleges, Heads of University Departments, and nominated members including Prof Savi Behl, Principal, Govt Degree College, Kathua; and Dr Sanjeet Kour, Associate Professor, Govt College for Women, Udhampur, also participated in the meeting.
