JAMMU, June 13: The Department of Commerce, School of Social Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu, in collaboration with Zerodha Varsity, inaugurated the transformative “Stock Market Training and Financial Literacy Program for the Nxt-Gen Investor”, here today.
Organized under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof K S Chandrasekar and guidance of Dr Vishal Sharma, Dean, School of Social Sciences, the program is aimed at equipping students with crucial financial knowledge and investment skills.
Spanning over 25 hours of live interactive sessions, the program covers comprehensive modules on stock market fundamentals, personal finance, technical analysis, and fundamental analysis. These sessions will be conducted by industry experts and delivered online.
The inaugural session was graced by faculty members, industry professionals, and over 85 students from various schools and colleges affiliated with the university.
The keynote address, delivered by Salman, Resource person from Zerodha Varsity, focused on the core principles of personal finance and investment, stressing the importance of early financial planning and informed decision-making.
