JAMMU, Mar 13: Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Employability life, a subsidiary of Federation University Australia, to establish a “Future of Work Lab” aimed at enhancing global career readiness among students.
A statement said the collaboration will provide students with industry-aligned, work-simulated projects across fields such as management, commerce, biotechnology, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, helping them gain practical exposure to real-world workplace challenges.
Under the programme, students will also receive internationally recognized micro credentials from Federation University Australia along with a workplace readiness profile and score to showcase their employability potential on global platforms.
Vice-Chancellor CLUJ, K S Chandrasekar said the partnership will help integrate innovation and practical learning into higher education and prepare students with future-ready skills.
Raja Dasgupta, CEO of Employability.life, said the initiative aims to bridge the gap between education and the evolving demands of the global workforce by offering industry-relevant experiential learning.
The collaboration is expected to strengthen industry–academia linkages and improve employability prospects for students by aligning academic learning with global workplace expectations.
